Hi, my name is Jackie Rolfe. Thankyou for dropping in to have a look at my 'Spot On' Cattery.
Bengals are a very special breed of cat. Bengals are the result of cross-breeding the Asian Leopard Cat, with a special short haired cat eg. Abyssinian, Burmese, American Shorthair or Egyptian Mau. The result is stunning - a medium to large cat with the wild markings of it's ancestors.
Bengals range between 4 and 9 kilos, males being the larger.
Bengals have a personality unlike any other cat, this no doubt comes from it's wild heritage.
Bengals love water, a running hose on the ground, or a toy at the bottom of a pond or a bath.
It is also a known fact that unless you have patted a Bengal, you have never experienced the feel of the softest pelt.
Bengals are an extremely intelligent cat and can be trained to fetch or sit, or walk on a lead. They love the interaction with humans.
I have had a lot of different breeds of cats over my life and nothing comes close to Bengals. Once converted, you will sing their praises loud and long.
At our 'Spot On' Cattery, we are currently breeding to world recognised standards for brown-spotted Bengals, featuring the highly desirable rosette.
Above all else, our aim is to have only healthy, happy, well adjusted kittens available for all standards.
